Last time, I chatted a bit about the significance of Autumn and the sacrifice of the God. After I finished recording it, I began to think about how difficult it has been for me to understand and get to know the God and it occurred to me that some of you may be having similar trouble. In this episode, I attempt to share what I've come to know and feel about the God.

Hey! Just listened to your podcast for the first time. I'm an eclectic pagan myself, and I found this podcast to be extremely insightful. I'd like to thank you for that.
I have plenty of "other" beliefs that both add to and conflict with the views presented here, but for some crazy reason it really does help seeing the God in that way. That whole "seeing the elephant on different sides" type of philosophy.
Ha. Posting again!
Not sure if you touched on this subject, but I wondered what you have to say about the "teen pagan", and what experiences you, or other people, have had.
Another idea: international community. I live in Argentina, but I am American and go to an international school. I've found that this experience is so mind-blowingly different than in an American school. There are people from so many different countries, and with so many different beliefs, respect is basically the one characteristic that keeps people from getting REALLY nasty.
Just throwing that out there. ^.^
Lisette,
Thank you for the show ideas! I'll have to do a little bit of thinking on those two topics.
Blessings!
Love your show. I listened to it on iTunes the other night and now I'm hooked. Looking forward to many more podcasts.
Bright Blessings!
Hey LitheWolf, great shows, I have listened to them all.
Personally, I think that discussion of who came first; God or Goddess is pointless. There is no Creation without a merging of the Two, as I believe They ultimately are One. There are myths out there supporting both sides.
One point that I don't think there was enough emphasis on though. You mention the sacrifice of the God, which is there, but the difference for me is that He is the 'Willing' Sacrifice. At some point along His journey, He makes the choice to become that willing sacrifice for the good of the land. It's the willingness to sacrifice, that is the strength.
Great show! Smart host and nice voice.

The Wigglian Way
Excellent point, Mojo. I certainly agree with you. Thank you for brining that up.
This gives us another understanding of the God as well; that of the God as the hero in the truest sense of the word. He gives of himself, willingly, for the good of all.
You're right, I probably should have focused on this more in the episode. Oh, well. Addages about hind-sight and all that.
Hope you're enjoying the show as much as I'm enjoying The Wigglian Way!

Christine-Ann,
I'm so glad you're enjoying the show! It's always good to hear that I'm doing one or two things right. Thanks for listening and don't hesitate to send me any ideas for the show that you may have.
