Hello, All!
As you've noticed by now, things have slowed down a bit on my end of TBC. This is due to a number of factors, not the least of which is the fact that I am focusing most of my time and effort on putting together an art show. My husband and I are also preparing to move and my graduation from college is a mere month away. In addition, I have been without an internet connection at home for nearly three weeks now.
Because of all the ruckus currently occupying my daily life, I will be unable to produce another episode of TBC for the next two weeks or so. In the mean time, here's an excellent e-mail I received from a listener with a really great question for you all to ponder:
"Hello. I am a new listener out of the broom closet and I wanted to tell you that your cast is one of my favorites. Does the 'pagan' community promote, dissuade, or are they nonpartisan about the concept of Filial piety? Which I see, not just as children's duty to the parents, but as every family member's duty to each other. E.g. Child(ren) to Parent(s), Parent(s) to Child(ren), Extended family to Immediate family, and Immediate family to Extended family. I realize a topic like this can be hard to answer; it is hard to speak for other people. But I am curious to see what you have to say.
Keep up the great podcast.

Merrily Meet, Merrily Part, Merrily Meet Again"
TJ's right, it is difficult to speak for others on this subject. So, to make things easier and clearer, I think you all should go ahead and speak for yourselves. Is there an emphasis on filial piety in the Pagan community? Yes? No? What, in your opinion, is the Neopagan perspective on the duties associated with being part of a family?
Bright Blessings!
